Hello All...I'm very new to this, so bare with me... :D We're planning our first trip to the west coast, and hubby wants to go to Disneyland ( me too:Pinkbounc )... could anyone help with the what to see and where to go?? Is it better to go thru AAA for tix, or are there other better sites for those things? Is there a discount club card for disney??? Thanks for all the help.

If you could give us more info, I'm sure the replies will be rolling in.

What type of hotel/motel are you looking for? What price range? Onsite or off site or does it matter? Walking distance or shuttle? Just you and hubby, or are there kids too? Do you only want to see Disney or do you want other areas also? How many days are you planning? Will you have a car? Would you feel ok driving yourself to say San Diego? Rollercoasters, beaches, star home tours....what types of things interest you?

My step mom and Dad are going next week and it's my SM's first time so Dad is taking her to Venice Beach to see all the "local flavor".

I have lots of advise, but I want to make sure it is what you need before spouting off. LOL

:p

Disnee Dad Says...............................Give us vital info!
Six year old = Legoland, no kids = heck no to Legoland!
While DL/DCA are microscopic compared to WDW, when you look at the rest of So Cal, you could spend a month down there and not see it all!
And when you want to just relax and enjoy the area, come to Sacramento! Not because we are so great, we can keep you happy for a couple days. But within three hours from here, you can see San Francisco, Fishermans Wharf, Alcatraz, Pier 39, Bay Cruises. Napa Valley, wine center of the world, but go to Sonoma or Healdsburg or Calistoga, out here we go to Napa for auto parts! Reno, biggest little city in the world, glitz and glamour. Lake Tahoe, take a boat ride on this beautiful lake, see the great scenery and back to the casinos for more action! Yosemite! Three hours away, you can see half dome, the waterfalls, El Capitan.
Monterray/ Carmel. World class aquarium, 17 mile drive, Pebble Beach, white sandy beaches, the Pacific Ocean. And I didn't mention Six Flags at Vallejo, Paramount's Great America, Jack London Square, Gold Rush Historical Sites, etc...
