What is fun and exciting for 2 girls who have never been to Disneyland before? We only have a dinner reservation at Ariel's Grotto. We will be there a total of 3 days... Also, I need so info on how to see Anna & Elsa... Okay, go!

Are you aware that the princesses are not at Ariel's Grotto for dinner? Breakfast and lunch are character meals, where the princesses come around. Dinner includes WOC passes for the dinning section but the princesses will nit be there.

I don't have any tips for Anna and Elsa... But my kids really enjoyed Pixi Hollow and the shows in the Fantasy Fair. They both love the Disney Jr show and Turtle Talk in DCA. You may want to measure your 3 year old before you go to see if she will be able to go on the 40" rides or not.

Goofy's kitchen is also a great place dinning option.

My DD has been several times, the first when she was 2.5, the last for her 5th birthday.

On her first visit, she loved the fairies in Pixie Hollow and the princesses at Fantasy Faire. We did lunch at Ariel's Grotto, which was also great. She found many of the Fantasyland dark rides to be quite scary, but loved Alice. Characters were a huge hit, although we rode plenty of rides, too.

In DCA, she loved Bug's Land (NOT the movie there) and the Muppet Vision 3D movie. She also liked the Paradise Pier rides (Golden Zephyr, swings, Jumpin Jellyfish, Little Mermaid, King Triton's carousel). It was during the construction-o-rama, so there was no Carsland yet.

On the second visit, she was tall enough to ride most of the thrill rides. Now, she's an adrenaline junkie! She loved Carsland, and still loved the characters.

We finally caught the Playhouse Disney Jr. show at DCA on our last visit, and she loved it. She also really enjoyed the parade, fireworks and World of Color. The little plays in the Fantasy Faire area are very enjoyable, and she had a blast at those.

It really is hard to go wrong with kids that age--but my biggest advice is to get there early (at least 30 minutes before park opening) and to take a midday break! You can get a ton of stuff done in the morning, and a break will keep everyone's mood pleasant.

Any and all of it will be exciting!!
For Anna and Elsa unless you have early morning entry to get in line right away you will be waiting a few hours. If you are going soon I hear they are on a float on the parade route about 10 minutes before the normal parade starts.

Other pointers:
-bring a stroller!! a lot of walking, a lot of people, a lot of walking :)
-try to see the parade at least once (show up early for a front row spot so your girls can see)
-know your girls heights so there is no disappointment
-take a lot of pics (don't forget to be in some!)
-remember to keep fed and hydrated
-have a lot of patience as there will be waiting and then there will be some more waiting!!

As for the rides it will depend on your children mine loved all the rides and shows/movies. But on our first family trip our youngest who was 18 months at the time freaked out:scared1: when any characters came near him!! But did ok when we went back when he was 3!! So it depends on the child.

Have a magical time!

What do you need to plan? Nothing :)
But at their age a Character meal would be great, BBB if is in budget would also be great and I would highly recommend autograph books particularly the ones with the photo inserts.

A small 6 pack size cooler. Freeze juice boxes to keep things cold and to drink later. I packed cheese, cut fruit, granola bars and goldfish for snacks. Those got us through some lines and held of the hungry until our meal reservations.

Let the kids lead. We basically just followed our ds5 and dd2, whatever they wanted to do, we did. I did insist on hurrying to Carsland on our early morning entry to CA. I stood in line for fast passes while my husband took them on rides and checked out A Bugs Life. Get in line before the main gate opens for FP.

Be prepared to The Little Mermaid ride over and over, both of my kids loved it. If there is no line up ask the CM if you can stay on at the end.

We didn't try to see Anna and Elsa, my kids weren't that into Frozen then, of course now my dd would freak to meet them. Next time!
