First time since 1982

We are senior citizens and going to Disneyworld for the first time since l982 and we are in a class "B" motorhome. We will stay at Ft. Wilderness. Is it possible to request a certain site? I am limited in joint mobility and would like to be near transportation. Second question--I know the deposit is $200.00 but do you have to pay the balance before you get there?

I have never had to pay more than the first nights fee for a deposit, and always paid the remainder at check in. Are you getting a site only or a package with tickets?

You can request a specific site, but most likely won't get that. You will have better luck requesting a specific loop, but once again, there is no guarantee. I would tell them about my mobility issues - they will be more apt to honor your requests. Also, 3 or 4 days before arrival, I always fax in my loop request. I have only not gotten my request once.

Thanks. We will be purchasing tickets also and I think with a dining plan.

Also, what is a preferable site? How do you know which ones are preferable?
