I love your reviews! Great pictures and descriptions. Also, I love the lime green nail polish- so dis! :cutie:

You have done a fantastic job of your review and I cant wait to read more!
We are going home in late May for DS 8th grade promotion and have booked CR for a special dinner complete with diver!:) Your review makes me want to eat there even more and the drinks will be another surprise as we are also on the ddp!
Great photos too!!

Great report!:thumbsup2

I love crab legs, was that the whole order or had a leg or two been eaten already? :rolleyes1

Keep it rolling. You are broadening my horizons and I am looking at new places to eat now.

Thanks, YO

Somehow I missed your reviews up until now.:confused3

My boys and I were drooling over your dessert pics. :lovestruc They were complaining that I was sending them to bed hungry...

Sorry you didn't like Pizza Planet. I've been there several times and always enjoyed it fine.

I'm happy to hear a good Coral Reef review. We are booked there for our trip in August.:)

Happy you are here now! You could have fed them your mouse like coach yo:rotfl: Have a great time on your trip in August!

Nice job on the reviews so far ... and I like anyone on principle who orders a zebratini as a pre-dinner drink! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to reading more! :goodvibes

EDITED TO ADD: The Zebratini is made with vanilla vodka, Godiva white chocolate liqueur, Frangelico, Amarula cream liqueur, and a shot or two of espresso. It packs quite a punch!

Oh this all sounds so gooooood!! Thank you so much for doing this for us!!

:cheer2: Thank you so much for sharing!!:cheer2: I really appreciate you clarifying what was covered on the DP.

Just found your report and read all of it :thumbsup2

Zebratini sounds perfect! :goodvibes Gotta get me one! :drinking1

Pizza Planet- My DD14 will be so glad to know that she & I aren't the only ones that think the sauce is disgusting! Their pizzas look great, but I couldn't eat much of it, mostly just the crust and the sad little salad :sad2:

Nice to hear a "good" Coral Reef review. I haven't been there in years and may just have to try it again on one of our next trips.

looking forward to the next installment :goodvibes

Thank you for the compliments! Your reviews are some of the best I have read. Now that I know the recipe for those zebratinis, I will have to try to make them. Although, that is alot of liquers I'll have to buy:rolleyes1

Yeah, no more pizza planet for us! Though, I was definitely surprised w/ our dinner at the CR. I cant quite understand why it has so many bad reviews, but everyone has their own opinions and taste. Thank you for joining me!

Now on to day 5. The only thing we had planned for this day was at Boma for breakfast. Our ADR was for 9:30 am and we were seated right away after checking in. It was not very busy at least not as busy as I thought it would be with all the great reviews of this place. Our server was very nice and took our drink orders. Dh had OJ. DD and I shared the pressed pot of coffee, but I also ordered the jungle juice (just to try it out). The coffee was very good but strong. I didnt think DD would like it but she didnt complain. I love coffee so the stronger the better. The jungle juice was different but tastey! I wish they sold it in the supermarkets! Oh well, I will just have to make more trips to Disney!

I will go ahead and tell you that this was THE best breakfast buffet I have ever eaten at! We all agreed that it was. They had so many different offerings; fresh fruits, fresh baked breads and sweets, omelet station, your typical breakfast fare, and not so typical breakfast fare (african).
46.jpg

My first plate consisted of roasted potatoes (fully cooked) ham, bacon, scrambled eggs, croissant, and strawberries... YUM!

51.jpg

For my second plate, I had some watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, blueberry muffin, and chocolate croissant. All the fruits were amazingly fresh as were the baked items:cloud9:

47.jpg

DD's first plate has some pap w/ brown sugar and raisins which she enjoyed very much. She also has a waffle and some bacon that was really crispy, the way we like it!:thumbsup2

49.jpg

Her second consisted of scones w/ jelly, lightly toasted bread w/ butter, watermelon and strawberries.

48.jpg

Her third was some cantaloupe, pineapple, strawberries and a sticky bun.

50.jpg

Dh had some rice crispies, strawberries, and pineapple. He also had another plate that I didnt get a picture of. If I'm not right there w/ a camera he doesnt wait. :sad2: bad Dh! Anyway, Boma was an excellent choice for us. I am so glad we tried it. I give it a :thumbsup2

Next up EOS, Goofy's Candy, ans ASMu dinner.

Thanks for the Boma pictures! We are scheduled there for breakfast on our first full day next month!!

subscribing! It looks great! we're going in May and making ADR's.

Thanks for the time!:goodvibes

really pleased to see a positive coral reef review as this is another of our planned adrs the desserts look incredible.

The quality of the buffet of Boma looks great, Dh would love that pot of coffee i assume its better than the other "Disney stuff"???

Look forward to more

With all the great Boma breakfast reviews lately I am tempted, but we're not big breakfast people.:sad2: Thanks for a great review!!!

For dinner, we had reservations for Jiko at 7:30. This was also our first time dining here. We arrived right on time for our reservation and only waited about 5 minutes to seated. As we were seated a nice lady came around with hot towels for us. Then our server came to take our drink orders. DH and DD had sodas and I ordered the Zebratini! It was really good and strong!!!! Had a slight coffee taste, I am not sure what was in it but Im guessing Kahlua, vodka, and some cream.(please correct me if I am wrong) After filling the glass, there was still enough left in the shaker to almost fill it up again.

After drinks were served, our server brought us some bread out and then we placed our orders. I loved this bread! It seemed to have a hint of cinnamony sweetness to it. Im not sure what the spread was but it went well with it. We ate every morsel!

For dinner DD and I both agreed to have the Filet w/macaroni and cheese. Of course I had to take the advice of all my friends here on the dis. You Disers did us justice! It was one of the most wonderful filets I have ever eaten. It was cooked exactly as I and DD ordered (med) The sauce was so rich and tasty! Much better than the normal steak sauce you get served at other restaurants. So, here it is in all its glory... I mean saucey goodness
11.jpg

My Dh ordered the wood grilled pork tenderloin w/ a sweet potato puree and sauteed spinach. The server told DH that the pork would be medium to med rare and asked if that would be ok. Of course he said yes, he will not eat meat any other way. The presentation was nice and he said it was delicious and perfectly cooked. I had a bite of the spinach and sweet potato puree and it was fresh and good. I initially thought it would be a weird combination but I was wrong.
10.jpg

Now for the best finish ever! We were totally stuffed by the end of the meal, but we were on vacation so what the heck, we ordered dessert. DH and I split the chocolate cake w/ lavender ice cream. Before I go any further I just want to say I NEVER fight over dessert but this was no ordinary dessert! I was skeptical about the lavender ice cream at first but it was truly amazing! I thought it would have a strong lavender flavor but I was wrong again! The cake, ice cream, sauce, and cookie were devoured in less than 2 min. My husband hasn't looked at me the same way since LOL.
14.jpg

My DD ordered the Madagascar vanilla bean mousse w/ macerated strawberries. If there are some of you crazy people that happen to not like chocolate this is the way to go. I was only allowed one bite (it was really all I could handle at this point) and I was very pleased. I had to stop DD from licking the plate. Seriously! She loved it!!

Next up day 3 DHS
ASMu breakfast, Toy Story Pizza Planet, and 50's Primetime Cafe

Chants
JIKO, JIKO, JIKO. Can't wait until we're there. Only 2 months now until we can make our ADRs. Sweet.
