First time review w/ lots of pics!

We love the Plaza too! The reuben is fantastic! When we were there in September last year, we tried the cookie dough milkshake, and it was great!! :cloud9:
mmmmmmm... cookie dough milkshake:lovestruc that is one I will try next time!

Thanks for the reviews and pics. You might want to download Irfanview, its a free program used for resizing one or batches of pics, its really easy to use too.
LOL, I thought they were a little BIG! When I get a chance I will try it. Thanx

Great reviews!!!!!
The zebratini looks delish:thumbsup2

It really was. It was on the menu as a dessert drink, but what the heck! I was on vacation. I will drink dessert as well as eat it:thumbsup2

Mmm... you're making me so hungry! All of the food looks good! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to see Coral Reef. I've always wanted to eat there.
I have to say that Coral Reef was one of my faves!

The meals from Jiko's look so yummy I'm wondering if I made the right choices for my up coming trip. Oh well, there's always next trip;)
:cloud9: Next trip......

Day 4 was our Epcot day. We had fastpasses for Soarin at 11:05 and decided to eat at Sunshine Seasons after riding it. DD and I had the turkey and muenster cheese on foccacia bread. It was plenty to fill us up. The bread was fresh and delicious. All the flavors of the sandwich blended really well together. I would definitely order this again.

Dh had the asian combo plate. He seemed to enjoy this as well.

For dessert I had the fruit tulip. SO SO SO good!!! It had what seemed to be a shortbread crust filled w/yummy custard and fresh fruit. I loved it. Honestly, I could have eaten another.

DD and DH had the butterfinger cheesecake. This was excellent (if you like butterfingers) The cheesecake was creamy and you could actually taste the butterfinger pieces in it.

Later in the day we decided to stop at the stand that sells kaki gori. I have been wanting to try this since reading the dis boards. It was worth the wait. I ordered the rainbow: tangerine, strawberry, and honey dew melon flavors. My favorite was the tangerine but the others were really good too! DD and DH had just strawberry. They liked theirs just as much as I did.

Up next.... one of my faves, Coral Reef

:thumbsup2

WOW great review and pictures!!!

We missed Sunshine Season this year and your DH's plate looks delicious:love: I will mark also the butterfinger cheesecake for a must next time too.

Keep the reviews coming:

Question: Was the roast beef or pot roast that your DH had at 50's, were the carrots cooked to the point of soggy or 1/2 cooked and 1/2 raw?? The reason I'm asking is I would love to try this but don't like cooked carrots and I don't want to be centered out in the restaurant by the waitress:rotfl2: ???

For dinner on this day we had reservations for the Coral Reef. We were seated right on time at a table next to the aquarium. Our server Holly was excellent. She was very attentive and informative. I will absolutely ask for her next time we go back! To start, we ordered drinks: DD ordered a great white (virgin pina colada), I had the sourapple freeze (virgin pina colada w/ sour apple syrup), and DH had the strawberry stinger ( virgin strawberry daquiri). The were all covered under the DDP.

DD liked the sourapple freeze better than this one. I liked hers better than the sour apple freeze. The sour apple syrup was just too sweet for me.

Holly brought out bread with our drinks and then took our order. The bread was hot and fresh. Crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Very good.

DD and I ordered the king crab legs but we substituted the corn and asparagus relish for potatoes au gratin. The legs came out already split and they were really delish! The au gratin seemed to be made from scratch and were some of the best I have had. This was plenty enough to fill us up.

DH ordered the mahi mahi and I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews I have seen but to our surprise it was wonderful! It tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection. I will order this next time we go back for sure.

Even though we were all stuffed it was time to order dessert:thumbsup2 My most favorite part of the meal. Of course I had to try the chocolate wave w/ the brandied cherries and DD ordered it w/out the cherries. You disers were not kidding when you said this dessert was fabulous! It was for sure even with the brandied cherries. It was ooey gooey chocolatey heaven:cloud9:

DH wanted to be different and order the jack daniels and baileys mousse. He liked his just as well, but he is a jack daniels man! The top two layers were quite pleasant. The bottom layer however had a very potent whiskey taste which is ok if you like whiskey. He does!! So it suited him greatly.

This was one of our favorite restaurants for the week! Im so glad I tried this one even though I didnt think it would be that good. Thanks for sticking around you guys! Next up -day 5 DTD day! Boma for breakfast, EOS for lunch, snacks at goofys candy company, and dinner at ASMu!

They were not soggy but not really crunchy either... if that makes sense LOL! Thank you for commenting!

Loved your Coral Reef review...we are headed there in May and I can't wait to try those yummy frozen drinks that are covered on the DDP!

Were the crab legs included in the DDP? I have checked the menus and still can't figure this out.....

Thank-you

My mom and I are going to the CR on our trip in three weeks:banana: I had already decided to try the Mahimahi, now I know I want to try it. Thanks for letting us know what some of the drinks covered by the DP are that aren't sodas and water. It's always nice to have a larger variety to choose from.

Thank you I understand it. I love this restaurant and booked it last year despite the bad reviews. It was one of our best restaurants the whole week. The chocolate wave is to dye for :worship: Thanks again the reviews and pictures are awesome again.

Your pictures are amazing, especially the big ones at the beginning! Made me want to lick the screen!
