This time around DH has decided a scooter is in order; he simply can't walk that far anymore. I have a couple of questions that I didn't see covered in the main thread ;)

Do I have to be present when the ECV is dropped off/picked up by the rental company at the resort? We are staying at the Dolphin.

Is the daily fee charged by the night or like a rental car (24 hour period)?

I was considering either BuenaVista or Apple, would anyone recommend one over the other?

Thanks so much!:thumbsup2

If you rent from a preferred vendor, they will be allowed to drop-off/pick-up with Bell Services and you will not need to be present. Check the FAQ sticky for which vendors are preferred. There is nothing "wrong" or second-rate with non-preferred vendors, however you will need to arrange to meet them in person. At least some are very highly regarded and it's easy to make that meeting occur on your schedule.

I believe fees are per-day - calendar day presumably midnight-to-midnight though I never thought about it. Sunday to Saturday would be a 7 day rental.

I'm sure others can chime in about the 2 specific agencies in question as I don't have first-hand experience with either.

Enjoy your vacation!
