We are going to Disneyland in Florida and I need some help. A friend referred me to this site.

1. We are coming from Michigan...is it better to fly or drive? Where should we stop along the way?
2. We are a family of 6....my oldest is 10 and the baby is 2 months. My 4 year old is small for her age...is it ok to get her the under three ticket? She really doesn't look her age at all.
3. My 5 year old son is short for his age. Is it ok to do the tall shoes so he can ride on the big rides. He really won't get hurt will he...I mean without shoes he is only 4 inches under the height requirement.
4. Can we bring a wagon and cooler into the park? Would we be better with two double strollers? The baby of course needs one and the others just can't walk that much...especially my 10 year old she gets tired easily.
5. Where is a good place to buy crocs for the family. I need to find them as inexpensively as possible. Do you recommend black or white socks with those.
6. What about the fanny pack is there a good one for me to find. I plan on leaving the diaper bag on the stroller ....the baby and 4 year old are still in diapers and I don't want to have to drag the bag all over. The pacificer clips on my 4 and 2 month old won't get caught on any rides will they?
7. Is it ok for my husband to save our place in line and for him to text us when he gets close to the front and for us to just jump in line and join him. The kids hate waiting in line.
8. Can we park at the Contemporary or Polynesian and the catch the monorail to the MK for the day. They really don't have a time limit on those lots do they....also while we are there can we pool hop. We are staying ASm and would like to try the pool at the Poly. It looks so neat!
9. Our other option other than driving is to fly. I was thinking of Airtran---know you have to pay ahead for seats but I really don't have to do I? They wouldn't separate parents and kids if we didn't find them at the 24 hour mark. They would make people move so we can sit with our kids right? By law the airlines can't separate us...right?
10. The ME....if we do fly can we take it to the Contemporary so we can make our Chef Mickey reservation? We don't have to really get the ME 3 hours before our flight do we? I can just hop on one that comes after the one they schedule us on right
11. I can take flash pictures on Pirates and Haunted Mansion can't I? I can use the video camera too?

Thanks so much for the help...this is so overwhelming....I think I covered all my questions!

Ok, seriously...not to offend you if you truly are serious, but this completely looks like a joke.

This person knows way too much "Dis Lingo" to be serious. Sorry to offend, but Magical Express is not always abbreviated, same thing with All Star Music. If you really are serious about these questions, you wouldn't know well enough to post the abbreviations. Same thing goes with "pool hop". Also, the arguments discussed in this post are the most popular "flame suit" topics here on the boards. Obviously this person either wanted to start some type of fight, or this person is poking fun at the love of Disney here on the boards.

And if I am completely wrong, I apologize, but wherever you got your original information, the source is entirely incorrect.

I apologize if I offended you. Yes I am a regular lurker on the boards. It is just amazing the questions that are asked on these boards at times. I was NOT trying to start any fights. Just poking fun and as stated I apologize if I offended.

OP, that was not cool. Now I have to clean up the Mountain Dew I spewed all over my keyboard while reading your post.

BTW, you forgot to ask if you could bring your old resort mugs from 2002 to use again on your upcoming trip.

No offence taken OP. But if you wanted it to be a joke, it would have been hysterical to all of us, as long as you clearly stated it was a joke. Then we could all partake in the laughter.

How funny is something if the first thing you read is "I'm not really serious..." :confused3

I thought it was pretty funny. I am reading through it and my mouth just kept getting wider! I wasn't sure it was a joke until OP said so. Much funnier that way then prefacing it with "this is a joke". :thumbsup2

Well I didn't mean the OP had to state exactly that. But he or she could have posted the questions and that at the end say just kidding! or something to that effect.

I didn't say it was a joke until someone asked if it was one. So many times I read threads and questions and think the people can't be serious with the questions they are asking...only to find out it is not a joke. Just tried to come up with some of the sillier questions and things people do and make someone smile hopefully. As I stated I don't want to offend the crocs with socks wearers, fanny packers, big kids in strollers, etc. etc people.

I totally forgot the reusing the refillable mug that someone else mentioned!

Yes, I created an ID for this thread only because I don't want any backlash for the 'real' me who posts often. I didn't do this to argue just to bring humor and if people don't see humor I am sorry. My son had a great time laughing over it cause he is a Disney fanatic!

Hope everyone who goes has a great vacation!!! Just remember to behave and not line cut!

I thought it was very funny.
I read the post outloud to my daughter and we kept saying.."This person can't be serious??!!"
I needed a good laugh!

i was thinking the same thing! this had to be a joke lol! although i had no idea till someone told me that i wouldnt be able to bring my kids wagon in. i have never been, so i didnt know. but im glad someone told me.
