Hi everyone! I’m planning my first-ever Disney trip and feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the options. I want to make the most of it without over-planning.

What are the must-do rides or experiences for a first-timer?
Any simple tips to avoid long lines or save some money would be super helpful.
Thanks in advance!

The longer you go, the less stress you'll have. We usually go about 14 days. Then we have plenty of time to relax and don't feel rushed to do everything in one day. You can sleep in some days.

I'd buy a 10-day ticket, the cost per day is HALF what it would cost for a 4 day trip. A 10-day ticket is valid for 14 days. Decide when you get there which 4 days you won't go to the parks. Those days you can relax by the pool, in your hotel room, do laundry, etc.

There will be rainy days. Usually there are 2 of them when we go. If you plan a shorter trip, those will be annoying.

Don't make more than a couple of dining reservations. They are very costly and eat up a lot of your time.

It all depends on the ages of your kids - if you have them - what rides and attractions you'd plan to see, and when. It also depends on what time of the year you're going. There are crazy busy times and less busy times.
