So my family just planned a week long trip from June 6th-June 14th and we are staying at lake burns vista resort and spa. This is my first time staying offsite and will be my first time experiencing the new fast pass+ aspect of everything. I understand that fast pass reservations now can't be made until that day, but will I be able to make them thru the MDE app or do I need to get to a kiosk at opening and hope there's a good amount of slots left for E ticket rides?

Also has anyone ever stayed at Lake Buena Vista Resort And Spa before and could provide any info on this place I've never stayed off site before so I'm curious as to how close we will really be to Disney property...

I can't provide any insight as to your resort, but as of right now you'll need to make FP+ reservations at a park kiosk and hope for the best. Things may change before your trip but it doesn't seem likely.

Thank you for the info!!! :-)

I hope things do change I'm definitely a planner and this aspect of everything is driving me crazy with so much uncertainty

We really like this resort. There are awesome views from the top floor, if they don't have weddings or banquets occupying the space. Transportation isn't bad. The location is great if you like Downtown Disney.

I would really look at the fine print for resort fees. Sometimes a deal isn't so good compared to onsite hotels.

The Hilton is one of the worst for these hidden fees. We got explanations like, "We don't own the parking lot, so we have to charge you a fee."

Well were a group of 7 with 6 adults and 1 child and the price we were quoted with was around 1100-1400 for the week for a 3 bedroom suite. I'm not sure if Disney can really beat that value

I just realized that I gave you bad information. I have stayed at Buena Vista Palace, not Lake Buena Vista Resort Village. My apologies. Your hotel is on the other side of I4 from Disney.
