Hi
Coming to SoCal this July or August and would like to spend 3 days at DL. Would the crowds be about the same for both months, I would stick to weekdays, and would the weather be similar. Trying to decide if it is worth staying on site or not.
I know summer is busy and would take advantage of fast pass but if you get to park right when it opens can you get some of the more popular attractions done before lines get too long. We found this to be the case at WDW during President's week. We got there right at the opening and were able to do a lot before the crowds come. Thanks for any Help. BTW I contacted my local AAA office and asked if multiple fast pass is available if I book through them and stay on site. They acted like they did not know what I was talking about. Has anyone run into this.

weather and crowd conditons should be just about the same ... July 4th weekend will be an exception, it'll be busier than most other weekends.

and yes, it is VERY important to get there early and head to Fantasyland if you are interested as most of these rides do not have FP. otherwise Indy in the standby line, thn get off of the ride and get a FP.

Thanks for the info. Is the standby line for Indy similar to a single rider line, i.e. Fast Track at Epcot Center

nope...standby line is just that...it means you don't have a fast pass and you will fill what is available...not sure if they have a single rider line at indy...
have fun...looking forward to my first trip to disneyland in april...hope indy is back up by then....
