Taking our kids and grandkids for the first time to Disney. We are going beginning of June and not doing the park hopper for 6 days. I am so confused on where to begin planning everything out besides where we are staying at Pop century. Would love to stay in moderate resorts but don't have the budget. Please help how to plan this once of a lifetime trip.

You might want to start booking meals right now.

It can be difficult, if you don't know "which day-which park,"
but some meals (like "Cinderella's Royal Table" inside the MK castle) can sell out early.

You can book FP+ attractions (3 per day, for every day you are in the parks) starting 60 days before your resort check-in.

Be sure to read and study the great info found in the first several posts in THIS essential thread.

Well, you've come to the right place. There is lots of good information here. I would start by planning which parks you want to do on which days. A good crowd calendar, like EasyWDW can help with that. Look at crowd levels. Though early June will be busy, the calendars can tell you if a certain park will be the most popular that day because of several factors.

For your FastPass slections, read this thread:
http://www.disboards.com/threads/fastpass-frequently-asked-questions.3491680/

There is a lot of information there about selecting your FP attractions for each of your park days. You will be able to select your Fast Passes at 60 days from your arrival day as an onsite guest.

Consider other things too like if you will take breaks or have an "off day" where you just hang out at the pool. There are also the water parks and Disney Springs if you are interested in those. If you want to make any ADRs (Advance Dining Reservations) for any restaurants you definitely want to eat at. You can make them 180 days out, and some go very quickly (like Be Our Guest or Cinderella's Royal Table) so check on those ASAP.

The number one tip for efficient touring though is to always be at the parks early for rope drop (opening). The first couple of hours are usually less crowded with shorter lines, and you can knock out a few of the more popular attractions in that time. I usually don't schedule my Fast Passes until after this window, though some people like to use their three as early as possible to try to get a fourth. Read about that and let us know if you have any questions.

Good luck and have fun planning!

Have a great trip!

about saving money if Disney comes out with a better deal on there rooms that you qualify for you can get that difference back ( I just saved $158 on my trip in April) so keep looking at the web site, and if you see something you can call and ask.

about planing how many days will you be there ( just saw you are there 6 days) as I would not do a sit down restraint every day as they can take a lot of time, but they are truly need I would do one like 2 or 3 times for a week long trip. would go to Disney website and start looking at where you might want to eat and see if you have the many to do it.

then decide on what ride you have to do again Disney website or youtube is great way to get some ideas. you can FP then 60 before your First day of your vacation for 3 a day.

I would have an idea of what you want to do each day so like first day MK and what FP you have and then maybe have an idea of other things like seeing the 3pm parade and maybe wishes and have a few rides you would like to go on ( that you have not FP)

know you will not do and see every thing in 6 days so do not try ( I go a lot last year I went about 50 days and there are still things I have never done).

in FL it get really hot in the summer so make sure you and every one is drinking a lot of water and then drink some more dehydration is no fun. and it often rains int he afternoon so be parpaird for that ( even if it is clear blue sky in the morning it will more then likely rain between 1-4)

agree with the above. allears.net has great info on menus for every restaurant. Try to narrow a few must -dos and make reservations (adr) now, as Robo advised. Don't try to go morning to late night every day. You will burn out. Try to go back to your hotel to rest in the afternoon. Fast pass as soon as your 60 day window opens. I personally like having a car, as I think it's easier to go from place to place when I want, without having to wait for a bus. Agree very much with being at rope drop ( when the parks open) to get as much done as possible with minimum lines. They actually let people in about 10 minutes before the stated time (usually), and you want to be there even before that. So for a 9am opening, I would be at the gates by 830. Sounds crazy, but it pays off.
