We are going home to VWL 10/30 to 11/7/15..... Does Wilderness Lodge do anything special for Halloween day? Also what is the difference in MNSSHP crouds on Halloween day compared to 11/1? Thanks for the help!

I would say check out the a crowd predictor! I can tell you that that it will start to get busy at the end of your trip because it is coming to the end of F&W so all the locals will be out at EPCOT. I mean to the point were it took me over a half an hour to get from the Canada to the exit at International Gateway.

It was a few years ago, but there was a kid's parade at WL during the afternoon on Halloween.

It will be a little bit busier on the actual day, but not much. Also looking at you days you might be able to catch some of the xmas decorations at the same time later in the week. Very nice.

Thanks - I am leaning towards Nov 1st.. and I read somewhere that the Osborn lights start that Friday.... Hopefully!

nice!!!! good luck, check the different calendars and they will let you know when all is happening

We stayed at WL this past fall - Oct 29-Nov 5. We got back to the resort around 3pm. I don't know if there was a parade, but there was trick or treating at different stations around the lodge - you could pick up a map at the front desk. They also had Goofy and Pluto by the bridge in the lobby taking pictures for a couple of hours - they would switch out after a period of time. They also had some pumpkins out on a table in the lobby that some of the WL staff had carved and the guests voted on which they thought was the best. I don't know about MNSSHP on/after Oct 31. We actually went to the one on Oct 30 and it wasn't too bad.

Many thanks for the information.....

The MNSSHP sells out early for Halloween night, so if your thinking about going you have to jump on getting those tickets.

We went to the last Halloween party in 2013. It was also a sell-out. As was the first Christmas party in November. Unless they sell more tickets to the October 31st party than the first November one, there should be no difference in the parties - both will sell-out.
