First time going in the fall

This will be our first trip to DL in the fall we have gone the past 2 years in June. So I need some helping on packing the proper clothing with out over packing. What should be expect weather wise? How are the crowds? We will have a rental car this year what are some local favorites to eat that won't be hard for me o find, to save a few dollars. I know we will head to In-n-Out Burger, my kids really enjoyed that last year in San Francisco. Any other great suggestions for food, weather, or whatever would be appreciated. Our dates are Nov. 6-15, we have days planned for Legoland and Knotts Berry Farms. We have been to Legoland once before but never Knotts Berry any suggestions there too would be appreciated. I am gettting excited but want to be prepared! TIA!

We have gone many times in November. We always take jeans and short sleeve shirts. Usually that works out fine but our last trip I only packed one sweatshirt each for my girls and it was a hi of 63 most days. They ended up wearing the same sweatshirts in every pic (At least I brought them matching cute Tinkerbell sweatshirts.)
