First time flying SW - Questions please help

Hi everyone-

Just a couple of questions please.

We will be flying SW for the first time. 1) Can someone please tell me what it is I need to do to check in on line? There are 4 of us -- will we all be boarding together? I hope so since I have a 5 yr old and 2 yr old.

2) We will be gate checking a stroller and a car seat -- I am assuming this works the same as any other airline? Please let me know.

3) We will be taking my 2yr old son's car seat on the plane. I have always done this before with no issues on other airlines just want to make sure we are good to go with SW as well.

You go to the southwest airline site at exactly 24 hours prior to your flight to check in online. just enter your confirmation number, a screen comes on with all your names, check each box, and thats it.
if you don't get the A boarding pass, you will be able to board after the A group but before the B group since you have a 2 yr old.
i don't know about checking strollers and carseats........and yes you can bring the carseat on the plane.

Yes, you can gate-check car seats and strollers like other airlines, and yes, you can use your car seat on the plane (as long as it has a sticker on the side that it can be used on airplanes - booster seats cannot, for example).
