We are going on the Alaskan Cruise and will be flying into Vancouver, BC. My question is: when I book my flight how do I know when I go through customs? I will be flying from CVG to Vancouver, if I fly to Seattle and switch planes to continue to Vancouver, will we go through customs in Vancouver? Or will we have to collect luggage in Seattle and go through customs there prior to boarding our connecting flight to Vancouver?

Thanks for any help with this,
Stephanie

On the way to Vancouver you will go through Canadian customs in Vancouver. On the way home from the Vancouver airport, you will also go through U.S. customs in Vancouver, so even if you transfer on your return trip, you will have already cleared customs before starting and your bags can go straight through.

Thank you, very much. Was worried about missing our connecting flight. Takes a load off my mind.

Thanks again.
