First Time ECV Rental

We are currently at WDW and one of the members in our party, due to hip problems, needs an ECV. I have a list of preferred vendors, but was wondering about transport of the ECV from the resort to the parks. We have a minivan and were wondering if the ECV folds or collapses in any way for transport? I am looking at Apple and Buena Vista for rental. Are either of these ok?

Both companies have models that fold or come apart for transport and ones that do not.
Whn you are making the arrangements for the rental, let them know you want to transport it in a minivan and they can send you one that you will be able to do that with.
