Just became a new member. I got my e-mail today with instructions on how to activate my online account. Couldn't get it to work. I'm trying to understand if I'm doing something wrong. The instructions tell me to enter my "Club ID #" and the activation code that was in that e-mail. The letter I received from DVC a few days ago included my "Membership Number". Is this not the same as the Club ID #?? If not, where do I get my Club ID # to activate my online account? Thanks!! :)
 
Call member services for help. You need certain codes in certain places. Once your account is activated you will never use a couple of the codes again.

Thanks. I'm reading all of these Disney IT horror threads, so I guess MS can help me determine if it's their issue or mine. I get enough IT ugliness at work; I hope it doesn't carry over to my vacation planning. ;)
 
Club ID and Member ID are not the same. Each individual on a membership (including associate members) will have a unique Club ID. When you call, select option 6 which is for technical support with the website. The can look up your Club ID and assist you with setting up access to the member website.

Thanks. Just got to this today. They helped me through the process while I was on the phone with them. Worked perfectly. :thumbsup2
