I am so excited that I get to travel to Paris and DLP at the end of the month. My husband had a business trip scheduled and I am tagging along. I have never been to Paris and I'm trying to understand the transportation, Park tickets, dining plans. So please pardon my questions, I think I understand I just want confirmation that I am correct
I will be coming from the Marriott Hotel at CDG, is my best option to go back to the airport and take the train? I'm a bit confused on trains, and a little nervous as I'll be by myself and do not understand any French. My trip to the parks will be flexible so hopefully I can understand the process for my return trip will be tightly scheduled for a flight. There are multiple stations at the airport? Which should I leave from?
My husband has advised me to get to the airport three hours prior to my flight back to the US. My flight leaves at 11 AM on Saturday, September 3. there is a direct train, the first one at approximately 7:50 AM, will that allow me enough time? Am I crazy to take an early train solo with a carry on roller suitcase? Should I purchase the flexible ticket? I am slightly physically challenged, mostly slow moving as I have Addison's disease.
I did read the thread comparison on the shuttle on the train and it had lots of great info. I want to pick the train on Saturday for time, I guess I want opinions on whether I can handle this LOL
Right now there is free half board dining through the UK site, I am considering booking SL for the half board plus option. One meal and snacks is typically what I eat at the parks. Will I be disappointed if I lock myself into the dining plan? I have not called yet for room only pricing if I purchase an annual pass, I guess I wanted to hear your input first. I would have to purchase the second AP options so that my ticket would not be restricted the second and third day, correct?
Thanks for your patience and input! I'm a bit overwhelmed as this is a short timeframe for trip planning compared to what I'm used to! And I get to plan three days in Paris prior to the Disneyland
