Hi! We're making our first trip to DL Sept 13-18. We've been to WDW many, many times. Our plan is 4 days at parks. We are planning on going to the parks Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, all day Friday and all day Saturday. When I go to WDW, I would never, ever go without park hopper. But, do I really need hoppers at DL?

I would never go without PH. They are so nice to have, if one park gets too busy then you can walk across the esplanade and be at the other park in a matter of minutes. Why only evenings on Wed and Thurs? If possible I'd make those the full days, the crowds will be much lower.

We never do hoppers at WDW. Always at DLR. No you do not "need" them, but if you like them at WDW they are even more worthwhile at DLR. Especially on a 3+ day trip.

Park hoppers are a necessity at Disneyland. Much more so than WDW. The parks are about 100 yards apart. When one is crowded the other is often not to bad. You can also maximize the fast pass system with the hoppers. Without hoppers you are at a significant disadvantage. I would never go without them. Ever.

We are traveling with my husband who's coming for a conference. I normally work from home so I'll be working from the hotel during the day and when my work day ends, my daughter and I are going to hit the parks. Then, we both took off Friday so we can spend a couple of days in the parks!

Thanks. The one time I didn't get them at WDW, I seriously regretted it. We wanted to ride Toy Story but don't really like anything else at HS and we had nothing else to do all day.

Thanks! I appreciate the help! Will definitely be getting them!
