First-time DCL questions

Hello,

I just added funds to my on board account using my Disney Vacation Account. I wanted to know if I add a credit card on file which will they charge first for our on board purchases? I am only bringing the credit card as a safety net just in case I go over so ideally I would like for that not to be used at all.

Can you preset a spending limit for your child's key to the world card while on board?

Also, should I be concerned that I haven't received our cruise documents as of yet? Our cruise is 8/21 on the Dream. Should I contact DCL or my travel agent?

They will use any non-refundable OBCs first (rebooking OBC or from a TA, for example), then any OBC that was pre-paid. The CC on file would be used last.

As for your cruise documents, they will probably be sent to your TA. Since you are a month out, they should be arriving any day now.

As far as charging goes, I don't believe you can set a limit.
