First time DCL - Magic or Dream?

Does anyone know what would happen if one of us tested positive at the end? Having to drive back from Miami would stink. Hubby and I are triple vaxxed, 8yo has second shot 2 weeks ago but 3yo...
I’m curious too. From my understanding the state of Florida doesn’t enforce quarantine and Honeslty do they really care?? So I can’t see anyone even knowing and forcing how you get home. Now how you choose to get home if it’s ethical or not is a different discussion. (I actually know someone that flew while having a positive home test, his argument was it’sthree days past my home test, Maybe it’s a false positive call, I have zero symptoms and why should I have to pay for simply knowing when there are probably millions out there flying about who are also positive and just don’t know😬)

I would assume that Disney would quarantine you and escort you off in a different process than normal passengers to keep you separated. I also assume if you book Disney transportation they won’t let you on those. And I’m pretty sure though a Disney reps not gonna stand there and notify an Uber or cab driver that you have Covid.

On the cruise that I was just on, I learned that they had tested the kids early morning (7am) of the last full day. So if you’re positive plan to stay in your room for a good 24 hours Until disembarkation

I could be totally wrong but I think the testing is in force by the CDC just to keep track and measure how various ships are handling their Covid procedures and case count by ship for their data. I assume what happens once you get off the ship nobody cares. But I am curious if anyone has experienced a positive on board test and what really happens at the end.

Someone who was supposed to be on my most recent cruise reported that a member of their group tested positive at the port, and TSA was notified and put them on a no fly list for 7 days. I would assume if there’s a positive test at the end of the cruise, Disney still would notify TSA. I read it on the internet, so take it for what it’s worth, but definitely something to consider.
