Super excited just booked our 1st Disney 7 day cruise for May 1, 2016!!!
Just wanted to know of any tips or activities that people have experience while cruising on the Disney ship Magic that my 5 year old boy and 6 year old girl would like. I have heard of the fish extender thing but am not sure how it works. if anyone could fill me in that would be great :)

:welcome: There are myriad threads regarding tips and what to pack and how to tip andwhat to do...the answers to your question would take me days to type.......the Fish Extender, though, is like a secret Santa type thing (though, over the years, people have started to include their names as the "giver" with these gifts....don't ask me why:confused3) where you join a FE group (usually now on facebook) and find out how many people are participating in the exchange. Don't be intimidated when you find the homemade gift exchange thread here!!!
Anyhow, google your questions like this "Fish Extender gifts disboards" or "dining rotation disboards" and you will be on the way.

and, PLEASE, ask as many questions as you can think upright here....don't be shy. hardly any of us bite...................

As PP mentioned, you can find lots of info here on the DIS about cruise tips and FE. My opinion & advice to you is to skip the FE on your first cruise. Just enjoy the cruise. There is Sooooooo much to see, do, figure out and experience when you're a newbie that dealing with the FE will be more stressful than fun. If you decide to take a 2nd cruise, participate in the FE then. (That's what we did.):goodvibes
