First time @ CRT (Breakfast!!) Thoughts?

I somehow was able to score a breakfast ADR for CRT for our upcoming trip this Sept/Oct!! My 3yo is going to be SOOO excited. She had her first trip to Disney last fall but told us she wanted to go back because "she didnt get to go inside the castle". (Terrible parents i know lol) When i booked the ADR I booked under the Dining Plan but I plan to pay OOP once we are there. Will that be an issue, or are my credits already reserved for that TS meal?

Since I plan on paying OOP (& i know its pricey) can someone advise the actual cost for breakfast in the fall and if they enjoyed their experience there? To be honest my 3yo eats like a bird so I know i'm not getting my money's worth on the food lol. Thanks!

You can choose to use credits or pay OOP when you get there.

Under 3 would be free but 3 and over you would have to pay for. Part of the price you're paying is for the experience.

Not sure on current cost.

When you get to CRT, just let them know that you do have the dining plan but YOU DO NOT want to use the dining plan for that reservation,. Then double check your receipt at the end to be sure dining credits were not used.

I though you had to pay for CRT in full at the time of booking the reservations (no matter if you had dining plan or not...?)

It is a lot of fun! We did it years ago...my daughter wore her princess dress. So much fun!

When you get to CRT, just let them know that you do have the dining plan but YOU DO NOT want to use the dining plan for that reservation,. Then double check your receipt at the end to be sure dining credits were not used.

If you have a dining plan, the system is only supposed to use your CC to guarantee the reservation. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

I did check my account this morning and it was not charged anything, so thats good!

We were on the dining plan and when I booked CRT I remember I had to select if I wanted to use my dining credits or pay by card. I paid by card and was charged at the time of booking and not again later. For breakfast, it was $60 per adult plus taxes and gratuities (came to just under $150). Our daughter was not quite 3 yet so we did pay for her.

They did ask me when we went if we wanted to use the dining plan but I said no. I wonder if they would have refunded me?

Yes they would have refunded you. You can also book and pay in full and then when you arrive present any discounts (AP, TiW) and received the difference back on your card too,

As far as I know, your dining plan will only be used if they scan your band. First question we are always asked is if we are on the dining plan and when we say yes, they ask to scan one of our bands.

If you want to pay OOP, just answer no.
