First time cooking a turkey in a roaster--??

I've made many many turkeys, but usually in the smoker, or oven.

Bought a rival roaster tonight. Anything special I need to know.

One question- Do you put water in the bottom?

We do our turkey in a roaster, turns out wonderful. You can put a little water in the bottom, but the turkey will make its own juices!!!

Nothing special you need to know, treat it as if it were in an oven. Your roaster should have come with directions including cooking times, just follow that.
