First time camping at FW

My cousin and I are taking my daughter for her 5th bday and her 2 year old boy camping for the first time FW. I need as many tips as possible about the resort...we have the actual tent under control!.

Where should we request a site at? Things we shouldn't miss out on? Any thing is appreciated! Thanks!

A great place to startlearning about FW is reading the trip reports. i found so much helpful advice there.

As a tent camper, I really liked being in the 1500 loop, as we were close to much of the activity at FW. BUT, we could hear the movie even if we didn't go to see it. We heard music almost all night long, incl. some loud rock and roll coming over the speakers at 4:30am one morning. I don't know if it would be quieter in the 2000 loop.

I don't have any experience with the 1500 loop, but it was pretty quiet in the 2000 loop, even being right by the bus stop. Could be we were just lucky, though.

We have always stayed in 1500 and never had a problem. Love that loop. Too bad they won't let me stay there with my TT.

As others said. Request 1500 loop. 2000 loop has turned into the slums and I doubt it will get better. Make sure to bring bikes unless you plan on a cart because if you do get placed in 2000 loop it's a long way to anywhere in the campground.

We have the actual camping and what to pack under control. I was looking for insight on what to make sure to do with the kids in FW. We are local so we make day trips to disney frequently. So we have disney under control as well!

I have started reading the posts...and have callled to request loop 1500! Thank for the help!
