Hi,

So, I've booked a 3 night stay at the BC in a 1 bed suite clube level for next year (tagged on after a 5 night SSR stay with dining). Never even been to the Boardwalk for a wander before.

Any hints/tips/pics etc. of the BC welcome. I've been through all the BC posts in the resorts forum, getting very excited.

If you want to splurge, eat dinner one night at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, at the Yacht Club next door. It's excellent. And get your Beaches and Cream dining reservations early. It's small & books up quickly. Also, one thing we enjoyed was walking 15 minutes or so to Fantasia minigolf.

Agree re Yachtsman - it's one of the nicest restaurants on property.

BC is lovely. However many rooms don't have balconies, so if having one is important to you then make sure you request it.

You will enjoy the area we are staying there soon, we were at YC four years ago. We loved the convenience of two parks right next to the resorts and the wonderful Boardwalk are too. You can still enjoy sitting on "the beach" they still have chairs and a camp fire over there too. You can see some of the high fireworks from the bridge between BW and BC from DHS and Epcot too. They have movies on a night and the schedule is available when you check in. There is a dedicated resort thread that I highly recommend the lady who runs and organises it and everyone involved are very friendly and welcoming. Their thread has lots of information and photographs from post one all the way through to the recent ones with lots of things like room photos for many categories and for both YC and BC the pool is amazing and a water park in its own right for many guests. Enjoy your stay:)
