First time at WDW

Hi everyone!
I have a trip coming up in May where i am able to squeeze one day at WDW prior to a cruise. I know i am late on getting on top of the reservation based on reading on the boards(been planning this in between grad school classes), but i still want to try to get at least one. We will be going to MK on a Saturday with 4 year old. Any suggestion on a restuarant we should try? The only places we cannot eat is one that serves seafood mainly (mom has allergies).

Are you looking for a table service restaurant or quick service?

For table service, I like the character buffets at the Crystal Palace. Good variety of food and I love the characters.

For counter service, I like Pecos Bills.
