We will be staying on site July 1-3...I'm guessing crowds will be enormous...but just wondering if having that express pass will make lines bearable? Any experts out there that can tell me an "average" of wait time in the express lines? Or are the parks so busy that the express doesn't make much of a difference? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but have never been there before...

That weekend is going to be mobbed so the lines will be long. Express lines will probably run 15-45 minutes depending on the attaction...with water rides being the longest.

Standby lines that weekend will be 90 minutes plus for the more popular attractions and water rides.

Thank you so much for the quick response! We'll plan on doing early entry and being there early for rope drop...so hopefully it won't be too bad...

Since you're staying onsite, I would recommend early entry for WWoHP...then touring until noon or so. Then go back to the hotel for a nap/swim/snack during the hottest part of the day and then back to the park in the evening when the crowds thin out.

This is the best advise and what we do.

Great advice! This is exactly what we did, worked very well for us. The heat was as intense as the crowd level!!!! We used our Express card for every ride that allowed it, well worth it.

Can you get early entry into WWoHP when you stay at one of the onsite hotels or do you have to purchase a package? Just wondering if I can purchase tickets ahead of time, stay at an onsite hotel and get the benefits of express passes and early entry into WWoHP. We're contemplating our first trip as well. Thanks.

All onsite guests receive early entry. Sorry...I didn't read your question closely.
