We'll be staying at the BCR May 15-21. I was wondering, since there's no food court, what kind of breakfast choices will we have? Also, any ideas on rooms to request? We have a standard view reservation?

If your talking about Beach Club...there is an area set up in the bar in the mornings that has breakfast foods for sale. My kids ate there a few mornings...cereal, juice and muffins. They enjoyed it.

Julesmom,

Thanks for the reply. This is our first time at the Beach Club, so it will all be new to us. We've only stayed at Port Orleans Riverside before and the food court was convenient. Any idea on what kind of room to request to get a decent view?

Also, what does anyone think the chances are of being upgraded to waterview?

Breakfast on the lake -

Hi, TedL,
You could always walk, or take the boat, over to the Boardwalk bakery, which opens real early, and enjoy the scenery while sitting by the water. And there is also Spoodles for a sit-down breakfast. And certainly the Cape May Character breakfast right at the Beach Club- supposed to be great. You will be in a fantastic location- enjoy. Bob

I am staying there for the first time next week so I don't have any first hand experience but, from what I have read, the choices
for breakfast at the Beach Club are:

- "Continental Breakfast" type foods for sale in the bar...

- Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast:

- Room Service:

...or, if you felt like walking....

- Walk over to the Yacht Club Galley at the Yacht Club:

- Walk over to the Boardwalk and try Spoodles:

or Boardwalk Bakery:

As far as room request this post has lots of information about
the Beach Club:

Hope you have a great time...!

Hi lizfromfl

Have a great time at BC and I hope you have time to do a report when you are back...

We used room service every morning except the first.

I had my DD's 5 and 3 by myself and it was simply too easy to pick up the phone, although it wasn't cheap. Much easier to dress them after breakfast.

It was wonderful to have coffee on the full balcony.
