Hi!

My son & I are staying at the Yacht Club in early April and I have a VERY IMPORTANT question about Storm Along Bay. Do they have waitresses and waiters that go around while you are in the pool area taking "beverage" orders? This is one of my favorite things about vacation.

Silly question I know but important to me.

Thanks in advance.

Kathy

There are a FEW and I emphasize FEW. You might snag one every couple of hours or so, but it's definately not like you'd see at any expensive resort where they are everywhere.

I had the opposite experience. There aren't a lot of servers because not that many guests use them. Find one when you sit down, place an order AND TIP WELL. The server will seek you out later. I ordered lunch. The server came back later to refill my BC/YC mug, even without asking when I was in the pool. You might bring some cash so you can tip extra for that kind of service.

We were there over Thanksgiving week....
There were two waitresses for the pool area working out of Hurricane Hannah's. I was really glad to see them since I was the lone adult with our little ones. I'm not sure if it was a bad day but our order took a long time(blamed on the kitchen). That's not good with hungry kids. She gave us cookies for the wait but it didn't make it up for me.
