First time here at OKW in a one bedroom. The unit is gorgeous and I love the balcony! However I see two big drawbacks to this resort. 1. Parking is a nightmare. We are in building 14 and had to park 3 buildings down...and that was the only spot as far as we could see. 2. No elevators. How do build a resort without elevators? Those suitcases are heavy!

This resort was built in 1991. There are other resorts at WDW that were built about the same time that do not have elevators. Most of them are also only two or three stories (most of the OKW buildings are two stories with the third story being the second floor of the Grand Villa). The problem with parking in the Near Hospitality House area is that guests park in the villa parking to go to the pool.

That is awesome to hear! We will start going to the parks tomorrow so I hope the crowd is low. AK in morning and HS in the evening!

We did HS today. It was empty, we rode Toy Story Mania two times in a row. It was ten minutes entering to boarding both times, they were basically begging people to ride. First time I've ever experienced that at TSM.

Wow! We have the Star Wars dessert party tomorrow and I am looking forward to it. I wonder if all the guests are over at Norway trying to ride Frozen-LOL. Can't ride a bus without hearing someone talking about that ride!

Next trip book one of the buildings with elevators...they are located on the other side of the main drive to you as you drive in. Parking is a breeze in every other location other than where you are. Go out there later....won't be a car in the lot but members. We have seen employees park in that lot also. Not good.

We were there one night and my husband did move the car to a closer space but he got a dirty look from the other guest with the same idea but who was slower. :) I did go to the big pool but just walked around and I'm pretty sure there was a fence. Was there not one before? We check back in tomorrow, and I think I requested one of the newer rooms, for 3 more days then home. I'll check out the fence situation. Thanks everyone!
