First Time at Disney

Hi! This will be my familly's first trip to Disney World. We are planning on 7-8 days the week of Thanksgiving 05. So far we are considering the Coronado.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to which type of room or location within
the CSR? I see they have Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Congratulations on your first Disney trip!!! We've stayed at CSR twice and have loved both the ranchos and cabanas. Cabanas are closer to the main lobby/restaurant but the ranchos are nice and secluded in the back of the resort. Some say it's too far to walk, but we didn't think it was all that far. You're at Diney, you'll be walking a lot anyway. We love the huge pool with it's great slide, the Pepper Market has really good food and lots of variety. The grounds are beautiful and at night all the lights sparkle off the lake....You'll have a wonderful time!!!

Casitas have worked for us several times We like being near the parking lot.

We'll be staying at CSR in Sept...having the same questions but I'm sure it will be great no matter what. Enjoy your trip. This is a first for this resort but I've been a lot. Nothing better in the world.
