We are staying at the Poly (Trying to learn this disney talk LOL)
and we are staying for 7 nights. I just changed the SCI FI to the Coral Reef hope it was a good choice but kids realy into fish and things like that. Just scared I am doing too many buffets. and Yea i would consider Signature Dining.. thanks
You are doing just great with DIS-speak, so don't worry about that! You are in a good location at the Poly, and you have two great restaurant's right there: 'Ohana and Kona. The food at 'Ohana is served family-style but it is a fun place to eat (breakfast or dinner, but my family prefers dinner)and your kids would probably dig it. They have fun games, like coconut-rolling contests, for your younger two. My DS has always loved eating there; the grilled meats are good. The tropical drinks are great too. Kona is one of my families favorite restaurants. It is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The sticky wings are yum and your kids will probably like the smoothies.
Our family also likes Narcoossee's, at the GF, on the monorail line from the Poly. It is an octogon-shaped restaurant, specializing in seafood, and it has beautiful views of the lagoon, and the MK fireworks. We also love the California Grill (CG) at the top of the Contemporary Resort (CR). The food and service is excellent, and the view simply amazing. This is another great resort to watch the MK fireworks. Both of these restaurants are expensive.
Other options to consider: Yak & Yeti at AK (really cool theming, good portions), 50's Prime Time at DHS (again, very cool theming with kid-friendly food and waitstaff that love to tease/spoof), Beaches & Cream at the BC Resort (good burgers/shakes in an old-fashioned soda fountain setting), Jiko (signature dining and amazing...one of my favorite restaurants in all of WDW) at AKL or Boma. I am not a huge fan of buffets at WDW, but Boma is the bomb (breakfast or dinner). What is fun about a trip to AKL to eat is that you can see the animals on the savannahs from the public viewing areas. Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern (LLT) in the MK is another restaurant my family loves. Dinner there is family style, and traditional turkey with fixings, and not my favorite, but lunch is really good and is a nice escape from the park mid-day. At EPCOT, the Rose & Crown (in England in the World Showcase) is fun. It has a traditional English pub feel and the fish and chips are good. We also like Chefs de France and Le Cellier. Epcot has plenty of good restaurants.
