Personally, I love staying concierge - have done it at all three hotels and each one is slightly different. Some tips:
Since you are staying on property, you can use vacation planning services to make all your dining reservations (including World of Color dining), book any tours or Fantasmic! or order any gifts to be delivered to the room. I use them for every trip and they are awesome! Once they have completed all your reservations, you will get a complete daily itinerary. Their phone number is 714 300-7526 Option #2.
When you arrive at the DLH, there is a dedicated check in for concierge level - use to be to the far left but not sure if it has moved since the lobby was redone. If you arrive early and your room is not ready, you can still access the lounge. Make sure you go up and get some snacks and drinks - you can take them into the parks unless the sodas are still in glass bottles. The drinks are available the entire time the lounge is open.
Morning offerings are usually - juices, coffee, tea, milk, bagels, pastries, fruit tray, cereal. Again, take some for the parks.
Afternoons are usually whole fruit, chips, trail mix, pretzels, goldfish, and crustables.
Evenings - usually 2 hot appetizers, like chicken skewers, egg rolls, crab cakes, etc., cheese and crackers, veggie tray. They offer beer and wine during this time. (I think 5-7 pm). Then they clear it and around 8 pm, offer sweet treats - mini desserts, chocolate strawberries and cordials - Baileys, Brandy, etc. You can watch the fireworks from the lounge - they pipe in the music and in nice weather, they open the windows (I think they still do this).
You are also welcomed to take snacks back to your room. We would take a glass of wine to our room if we were going back into the parks to enjoy when we returned to the room.
It is a nice treat and you will feel very special! Enjoy!
