First time as a family of 6

apparently I use the :) feature way to much lol when I type hahaha..... I had to delete about 100 of them since they count as images lol.... oops lol....

I would suggest maybe hitting up Downtown Disney (DTD) on your arrival day. That way you can have a little bit of Disney without wasting a half day (or less) on a park ticket. We love to eat at Wolfgang Puck Express (PIZZZAAAA) or Earl of Sandwich and then hit up all the stores in the area (World of Disney, Lego, Trend D, etc.) Getting a sundae at the Ghiradelli ice cream shop is pretty awesome, too.

Joining in...congrats on the new pregnancy! I saw the photos before reading anything and knew you must be a pro photographer, just beautiful! Looking forward to hearing about your plans.

Definitely plan pool time everyday, the kids will need a break, especially with the heat in July.

oh yes.... pool time..... we plan on hitting rope drop... and then going back to the hotel around 11 or so.... and just hanging out until about 3 or 4..... take naps and swim and watch tv... let them play video games... that kind of thing..... :) I wish it wasn't july when we were going ... but with school.... and our line of work... .it was when we were least busy.... lol...

I hear you, we go at the very end of August. DH comes from a family of teachers and just won't pull the kids out of school even though they are still young. DS8 has some trouble with math and reading so I'd rather not have him miss anyways. We go as late as possible, right before school starts back up, so we can miss the summer crowds since most schools start back up before us, we're after Labor Day. Honestly though, the heat was not unbearable really. But afternoon breaks do a body good. :goodvibes

Disney trip canceled due to family emergency......

I'm so sorry to hear that! :guilty: It's always a double whammy. You have the emergency plus you also have to deal with the disappointment of a cancelled trip.

I hope that you get to reschedule!! We'll still be here, ready to help you plan when you're ready. ;)
