first time ADR experience

so I, disney world neophyte, traveling with wife and 8 yearold, just had my first ADR experience(which as I was informed by my first guy Thor are now just called Reservations). So I booked the two places we really wanted to eat, Sci Fi and Ohana(we"re kitsch friendly) and got semi castigated by Thor for not having a full itinerary(I don"t know...a guy name Thor should not be grumpy,imho)
So I went back and itinerized(a good word) and here is what I ended up with
Sci Fi
Ohana
open
Teppanyaki
Whispering Canyon
50"s Prime Time
Marrekesh
I have a little more leeway
any other possibilities....anything at Downtown Disney that takes dining plan?

and, other than being read the riot act for not having a full itinerary, it was a very pleasant experience.
Pretty easy, actually.

Glad your experience was a good one. Score one for Thor for getting on you about your itinerary. Some of the restaurants at DD that take the dining plan are PHollywood, Wolfgangs, Capn Jack's, Earl of Sandwich and I'm missing a few.
