What is the absolute first thing, do not miss, thing to do at Disney Quest?? We will be there at opening and I know some of the popular things. My question is: what forms the longest and quickest line?? Please let me know what to "bee-line" it for! I'm guessing Cyberspace Mtn.....but, I'd like to get some opinions!! TIA!! :wave2: :disrocks:

For my family, it's Pirates. I don't do roller coasters, but we all love Pirates, so we try to do that a few times before the line gets long.

::yes::

Pirates had the longest line, the last time we were there. Everything else, we had little to no waits.

Opening was quiet when we were there last week but I agree Pirates a few times, Aladdins carpet ride, Cyber Space Mountain (you can make the coasters fun and not scary at all), Alien Encounter and Ride the Comix and the Jungle ride were all alot of fun.

Pirates had longest line when we were there...that is the one ride we would have done mroe than once, if the line wasnt so long.

Pirates first :cool1: , pirates in the middle :cool1: , pirates last before you leave :cool1: ! We love pirates!!! :Pinkbounc The line has to be extremely long for us to not get in 3 or 4 sailings during our day at DQ.
And as you stated, a bee-line is the way to go - straight to Pirates!

Is there somewhere that describes what all is in DisneyQuest? We went in on our last trip, but only got to stay about an hour, so we didn't see a whole lot. Pirates appears to be very popular according to this thread, but where can I find out what these attractions are? Thanks!

dh really wants to do this,BUT due to our limited time there...we were gonna do this the afternoon/evening we arrived in Orlando.DO you think we will be ok if we get there somewhere between 4 and 6?

Is Disney Quest included with your parker hopper ticket? Thanks for your help!

nope, but it is included with the "pluses" you can buy for the new MYW tickets.

I agree with Pirates, Pirates, Pirates! DH and I LOOOOOOVE Pirates and rode it about 6 times last time (our first time) - we left for dinner at Boma's and came back and "rode" some more!

Okay, thanks. I don't know if its worth the extra 30 when i'm only going to be there 4 days. I think i'll save it for a future trip. thanks :sunny:

Several of the "games" are virtual reality and if you can't handle that you can get sick. I can't do the alien thing on the top floor or Aladdin carpet ride - both made me ill. There is also one you sword fight cartoon villians but I did okay on that. Cyber Mountain could possibly upset some people.

Great info here. Our first Disney Quest time.

Note to self: Pirates, Pirates, Pirates pirate:

All I can say is WOW you guys!! I didn't think Pirates would be the answer...I thought for sure it would be Cyberspace Mtn. I am guessing the line for Pirates loads/unloads slow and forms quick and gets long fast!?! This was supposed to be a poll, but I goofed :badpc: So, it's Pirates ya say?? Well, then we shall "bee-line" it Pirates.... thanks all!! :disrocks: :wave2:

Bubba's mom- How tall is your son? My 7 yo dd was dissapointed that she was too short for cyber space mountain and the buzz light year astroblaster bumper cars. The height req for both is 51 inches.

I agree that you should head to pirates first. Even though the line was short it was very slow. We went on once and it was fun. We tried again and gave up after a while because the line was not moving (maybe they did not have all of the "ships" going or maybe they were not fully staffed). There was no wait to create the coaster on cyberspace mtn and about a 15 min wait to ride it.

Also, I'll second the previous posts about motion sickness. I took bonine before we went in. I was OK on pirates, but the jungle cruise, aladdin and buzz were not good. I did not try anything else. Not the best place for someone who is prone to motion sickness.

Well, I now plan to buzz over to Pirates first....guess Cyberspace Mtn. will wait till after that...I'm so glad I asked this question here.
Luckily, we aren't prone to motion sickeness, and DS is a thrill ride/video game junkie...well, as much as I let him anyway!! He really enjoys simulator rides and can't wait to design & ride his own coaster.
DS was just at the doctor for his 6 yo checkup Feb. 2nd. He is very tall for his age and before they had him take off his shoes, I wanted his height measured in them first! He is 50 and 1/4 inches in his shoes :earseek: (I knew the height requirement was 51"--that's why I requested this measurement in shoes!) Without shoes, he's exactly 1 inch shorter--49 1/4"! So, I told him to have a couple more growth spurts....I'm hoping he'll make that extra 3/4"...if not, I might consider Dr. Scholls... But, we are hopeful he'll grow that extra 3/4" in 4 months! (He hasn't had a spurt for awhile, so, I think he's due!) But, thanks for the advice, comments and concerns.... I too, would hate to take a child to WDW and not have them be able to do something cuz of their height....DS is an adventure looking for a place to happen :magnify: , that's why he was 5 1/2 before he got to go to WDW at all...he doesn't do well with disappointment!! (FWIW: when we went last year, he was 49"...able to do everything at WDW (except the forementioned 2 DQ rides).
