First the MIL, now the DH!

First, my MIL called and said I should cancel my trip to WDW this wednesday. Now my DH is saying I need to cancel! They are both wimps! I have been saving all year to go on my Birthday trip and I am going as long as the airport and WDW are open!

I feel like telling them to bug off! I know they are concerned about my and my DS's well fare but the hurricane (although clean up will not be) will be over by then. I have told them both that I will see what the WDW website says to do on Monday and make my decision. But I have already made my decision! I am going!

The hurricane will be done with by tonight. All the airports will be reopened. Go and have a great time. The weather is starting to cool off a little bit and the crowds shouldn't be too bad.

That’s how I felt about the Disney Cruise I took earlier this month, it was my parent’s 37th wedding anniversary and there is just no rescheduling that!!

I told the DH I was either gonna be the Hero or the 0.....my cape is almost finished

My DSIL & DBIL are dpown there now and they are at the AKL. They said it is windy and rainy...probably 50-60 mile/hour winds, but it is starting to die down now. They are no seeing tons of damage from what they can see for their window, balcony, and the front door of the hotel.

I read somewhere that there is a problem aith the American Airlines terminal at Orlando airport, so you might want to check your flight.

Go for it! Hurricanes aren't like blizzards where people are stuck inside for days. It's over pretty quickly except for the cleanup--and even that is in warm weather, not freezing cold. Enjoy your trip!

I'd go! As long as the airport and WDW are open and your resort has power then I would definately go!!! The next storm threat is TS Lisa and she is way out there.
