While I am excited to no longer need a stroller, I'm anxious about how to survive without all our "stuff." Tell me I'll be okay! The thing I'll miss the most is our little cooler bag. We saved so much money by packing lunches for the kids.

You will be fine. When you think about it, how much of the "stuff" did you really use? Probably not much. And if you need it you can either 1) keep what you want in a locker, 2) return to the hotel and get it or 3) buy it in one of the may gift shops.

My bags have gotten smaller and smaller over the years. Last year I carried a small cross-body Vera Bradley bag - didn't hold more than a change wallet, camera, medications (Epi Pen, Bendadryl, Motrin), a pen, and a small hand sanitizer. I love not having to worry about a big backpack of stuff.

Igloo MaxCold backpack cooler. No reason to not bring some snacks or sandwiches in. We use it for bottled water (I don't drink Orlando water, and Dasani is simply local filtered water, so we get water we WANT to drink) and snacks like Clif bars.

It can go right with you on the rides, no problems.

I also use the Igloo MaxCold backpack. I got it at Target for $30. It's great for a few water bottles and snacks. It has extra pockets for a small camera, cell phone and I even fit 6 dollar store ponchos in there too. Going without a stroller is so freeing! Enjoy!

This is also my concern. Our last 2 trips to Disney we had a stroller. I can't remember using all the stuff I had packed and stored in the stroller but I liked to pack for just in case...lol

I am searching for a cross body bag and looking at Vera Bradley crossbody mailbags, it looks like it will hold a lot of stuff.

How old are you kids? Ours are 6 & 4, and while we don't think they'll use the stroller much, we are still going to take it mainly so we can take in the cooler and have a place to store our bags. Plus, when you are waiting for a parade or just need a break the stroller is a nice place for the kids. But...if your kids are just too big for a stroller, it probably would be more of a hassle to have it than anything.

FWIW, the stroller was a questionable place to leave stuff anyway. There are thieves out there, or even just squirrels that get into strollers and bags. Once at DisneyLAND I saw a squirrel nibbling at the lid of a drink left in a stroller...all I could imagine was the toddler getting into the stroller, picking up their little drink, and teething away at the cap...mmm, squirrel spit...

Seriously, though. We were done with strollers by the time we went to WDW, but out at DLR we had things stolen out from under and once taken off of, the strollers.

Those experiences and the squirrel experience stopped me from leaving ANYTHING in a stroller...which is why we got the MaxCold (carry our drinks and snacks) and why someone generally carries a backpack or baggallini for the rest of the stuff. Carry in what you can carry everywhere! Way safer than leaving things in the stroller.
