We have never stayed at BWV before and I am wondering what I need to know. Is there anything we must do or anywhere we must eat? Any tips and tricks for anything?

Here are a few tips. I had no idea I knew this much about BWV!:cool1:

  • There is a convenient exit on the 1st floor next to the elevator that will take you directly to the pool area, or is also convenient to the front of the resort, the arcade, and the health club.
  • Its fun to check out all of the Epcot resorts.
  • Boats of many various sizes can be rented from the Yacht Club marina, and Surrey bikes can be rented from the Boardwalk.
  • If you are not in shape at all, don't believe the people who say walking to DHS is a breeze.
  • Many people say Jellyrolls is a blast!
  • You can rent movies and play games in Community Hall, and get the equipment to play croquet.
  • You are within walking distance of the miniature golf course next to Swan & Dolphin.
  • Cape May Cafe' at BC has a character breakfast.
  • You cannot enter the IG until official rope drop, which will get you to Soarin' after the people went in the front entrance of Epcot.

On your way back to the resort by bus, if you stop at the Swan first, get off and walk through the lobby out the back and across the bridge to the BWV. DH and I prefer this to staying on the bus for the trip around the Epcot resorts.

1. play tennis with free rackets from the Community Hall

2. sit and enjoy the boardwalk at night

3. get the kitchen sink at Beaches and Cream in BC

4. walk over and play miniature golf at Fantasia near Swan/Dolphin
