I'm starting to plan my first ever solo trip. I have an AP and I'm thinking of going in either May or October. I'd go in May for the Flower and Garden Festival, and in October for Food and Wine Festival(I turn 21 in August)

Is there anything I should know about planning my first solo trip.

TIA

I just went on my first solo trip...at was tons of fun, granted I had a visitor for the weekend, spur of the moment, and it was awesome.

I picked TS resturants that I always wanted to try, and loved them, but I don't mind eating alone. I also didn't schedule my days to much, I knew what I wanted to do and what days the parks opened early or stayed open late.

The best part was chaning my mind mid day about what I wanted to do, and there was no one there to whine at me about doing it.

I am planning another solo trip for either May or June, I really want to go for the Flower and Garden Festival, but the fall is a great time to go as well, I went the first week of November for Food and Wine.

Just remember to have fun and relax and soak it all in

Im going in May and Oct solo! lol I went this past June and I had a blast! I was a little nervous about eating alone so i only made ressies for 2 places. But it turned out to be great the servers were extremely nice and i wasnt looked at weird.

Its so nice to go and do what you want when you want with out having to answer to anyone! I had such an awesome time Im going in May for my 20th Birthday! Also if your going to go in Oct Check out the link in my siggy if you want to join the dis party were planning! We all want to meet up at MNSSHP!

But dont think twice about going you will have a blast and you wont regret it! If you have questions just pm me!

I took my first solo trip last month, and probably had the best time of all my visits.

I thought the best part is being able to make last minute changes and not have to run it by people, and simply park-hop at the spur of the moment. Plus go on some rides multiple times, which would not have been possible if I traveled with other people.

I think because of budget issues, I'm going to have to chose a week in late September, hoping for free dining. and I can make it work. I have a trip in 11 days and a trip in March, so the money for a May trip just isn't there, but I may still get to go in May, I have a friend who wants a tour guide.

Whenever you decide to go, May, Spet, Oct...my only advice is to just go, you will not regret a solo trip at all.
