First Solo Trip to DLR--Very Excited!

I've lived in Huntington, WV my entire life and, although I've traveled all over the Eastern shore, Chicago was the farthest West I'd ever made it until this past March when I finally took a trip to San Francisco--which I loved!

Being a Disney nut, I chose to plan a trip for Disneyland (as well as a few days in LA) around the 4th of July; problem is, I got mono and had to cancel. NWA was kind enough to allow me to push the dates of my flight back, however, and the disease was diagnosed early enough that I had time to cancel my hotel reservations without penalty--so now I'm going October 8th-12th. This is my first outing to a Disney park solo--although I travel solo often--and I'm excited to see Walt's personal park for the first time. I've been to Disneyworld several times over the years, but this is the first time I'll be at the original. I realize it's smaller, but don't really care--one of my absurd pipedreams is to see all of the Disney parks in my lifetime (which consequently gives me an excuse to see a lot of the world).

It's reassuring to see so many solo travelers on the boards!

Oh, I just posted to you on the other thread! I'll just miss you, we'll be there the 22-26. You are going to absolutely LOVE Disneyland. As bad as I am dying to get to the World next year, DL will always be "home" to me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and you've picked a great time to go!!
