Any other solo's going to be there between October 31 and November 3? The only thing that is "stressing" me is dining alone at table service restaurants.

Hello fellow Oregonian!

I'll miss you by a month also - going December 1-11! Don't stress too much about dining alone; people watch and enjoy the ability to do what you want, when you want.

take with a book or a magazine it will help keep you busy while waiting for the food to arrive.:goodvibes

I travel a lot for work alone and I always have dinner by myself. Take a book, look at the map to see what else is on your list of things to do or if you do any writing or jounaling, write down your thoughts and feelings about the magic. I have a Nintendo DS and I take it everywhere with me. it's great to have when you're waiting for the parade or fireworks to start, waiting for your meal or even waiting on a long line.
I actually love doing the parks alone, you get a chance to take in all the magic and appreciate the freedom you have to see what you want to see.
Good luck and I hope your dreams come true while you're there.:wizard:

I just found out that I have a work trip/convention that will take me to Disney (solo). So far, all I've had time to do is make my reservations at the Dolphin. Haven't made any dinner reservations. oh my. I will have meetings to attend, but I will squeeze some fun in there for sure. I have been to Disney before- 1995 (family), 1996 (family), 2009 (work).
