Minutes ago i found some great deals on fights/hotels. I enjoyed reading everyone's own adventures on here and felt ready to go on my own. This vacation was much needed and a big break before i start a new career as a truck driver. 28/m and im going in the middle of March. If anyone is around that area in that time hopefully we can cross paths.

Out of curiosity, where did you find those deals? I've been thinking of doing a solo trip March 13-15th to go to the Dapper Day event on the 14th, but haven't been able to find any deals :/

And I will say solo trips are the BEST! I took my first solo trip last Sept for a week and had an absolute blast! On the whole I don't like doing much alone but that was amazing and I want to do it again!! :)

Ive been searching all over and so far i found out that jet blue has some good deals. You will have to play around with the dates in order to save some money. On hotels you might have to fish around between expedia, priceline, and kayak. Last thing i need to figure out is the theme parks. My trip will start on the 16 I wont be able to make it. If you do go to the event please enjoy because that sounds like alot of fun.

That is awesome! I too am feeling like a kid again, planning my first solo trip for Nov! I have everything booked, airfare and MYW package! I scored great airfare for $126 round trip! 270 long days until I set off to the Wilderness Lodge for 10 glorious days on my own in my Happy Place!!!! :smickey::earsgirl:

Oh good to know!! Thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to look into those :) Bummer your trip starts at the end of mine and our paths wouldn't cross :P That's ok, you'll have a blast I'm sure!! and tinkerbella, your first solo trip too? Ahh so exciting!! Solo trips are the best :D I wish the best for both of your trips to Disney!!

Aww that is such a bummer but I'm sure that you will have a blast either way. Will you be dressing up for the event? wow tinkerbell for your first solo trip you do have a nice set up! wilderness lodge is definitely one of the top resorts to book a room. I'm happy for the both of yall and i do wish yall a safe trip! please do share your experience i will post some pictures on here. Do you ladies have plans when you get down there or if yall like me just going with the flow.

Just going with the flow.. Might actually relax at WL if my room is ready and not run right off to the parks for once. I have 10 days to do everything so this is going to be more relaxing than ever. I do have a tradition to visit Epcot on arrival day. So I will be hitting up F&W since I always just miss it when I've gone in the past.

Aaaaannddd that right there is an example why solo trips are great. how come the epcot center is the first place you go? last time i only went to mgm and magic kingdom. I took a picture with a power ranger and made aladdin got out of character. (Pics with me and jasmine). Have you ever experienced the fire works? I book for 9 days cause jet blue offered $228. Fire works is something i dont want miss!

Honestly, I don't know why Epcot on the first day. It has just always been that way for YEARS now so we kept with it. Epcot to us, is so nice and spread out and more quiet in my opinion.. after a long and early morning of traveling it is nice to go to Epcot first and kick off the trip on my favorite classic Spaceship Earth! I like to save Magic Kingdom for the first full wake up in Disney day! It is just an awesome feeling to be well rested and head over to MK after a nice breakfast. That has also become tradition.. Epcot on arrival day and MK on the first full day! I love Wishes! It is my favorite fireworks show in WDW.

Taking my first solo trip beginning of May for the F&G fest. I can't wait. I even cancelled some ADR's so I wouldn't be tied down to be somewhere at any given time. If I change my mind, I'll just go onto MDE and see if there is anything available.

So looking forward to getting out of the SNOW!!!:jumping2:

F&g , afr, and mde. Im not sure that they are.. im still earning my ears :o. May is the best month of the year. You will have a blast just because my birthday is in may:bday:.

The snow in new England is getting out of hand. I think the reason is because the patriots won the superbowl and we are getting slammed.

I am so looking forward to wishes. Correct me if im wrong but I read something that you could rent a boat for wishes. If so i will catch my first experience by the water!
