ANY TIPS ARE WELCOMED REGARDING MY ITINERARY OR PACKING!

DATES: WED, OCT 28TH TO THURSDAY NOVEMBER 5TH (8 nights, 9 days)

RESORT: POP CENTURY (first time)

FORMER VISITS: 1997-2000 - ALL AT THE PORT ORLEANS FRENCH QUARTER.
Had photo taken for Leave A Legacy and have yet to return to see it!

WHAT FINALLY BRINGS ME BACK:
Long story is that I planned to do this trip on a whim without any idea how I would afford it because I was simply sickened by how quickly and how many years had gone, and I had yet to return to Disney. Not going to let this happen again. But so many financial turnabouts began to happen after my decision that it's almost as if the Heavens (God ) were simply showing and telling me that we're going to make this happen for me! When I first had this on-a-whim-desire to finally do it I had no idea that I'd actually be doing all of the things that are now a part of my itinerary.

THE SOLO EXPERIENCE:
One reason why I may have hesitated was that over the years there may have been no one who could go with me or wanted to go to Disney (I need more Disney Nerds in my life most certainly). And I told myself that Disney simply isnt the kind of trip you take alone. Boy was I wrong. I logged on to these boards and realized that going solo was going to allow me to do Disney MY WAY.... and I suddenly became excited about going SOLO. So here I am today at the 60 day mark and my trip paid for.

PREPACKING

Okay... I've been prepacking for months now. Storing my little items in a small suitcase, because the larger suitcase that I will be really using is in a storage locker and I will probably get it out next week. It's my believe that its the smaller things that you forget to purchase or pack. And so over the weeks I began purchasing the little things and putting them in my suitcase. I will try to post pics.

THE NEW, BUT BROKEN IN FLAT SHOES!
While at Disney during my first two trips I found out the hard way that I have flat feet and that traditional sneakers fatigue my arches something terrible. On the third visit I wore flat shoes and it was a breeze for the entire length of my stay. I wanted something newer and nicer to wear with my jeans or with a dress if I go to dinner, and I thought these were perfect (FROM DSW shoes). I just put them on yesterday to walk to the store and they felt great after only two full days of wearing them last week. So they really do feel well broken in. I also purchased a pair of sandals and a pair of flat sneakers that I will also break in before Oct 28th. I will show them below in another photo.

MY PURCHASES AND THE SMALL GREEN SUITCASE:

THE DISNEY 2015 CINCH BAG - WITH HAND SANITIZER ATTACHED

I think I got this on Ebay. Using this for the parks but below there is also another brown backpack for perhaps a rainy day or if I feel I need to pack a little more.

INSIDE THE SUITCASE

Inside you’ll see my pair of black sneakers next to a lovely pair of black sandals (FROM DSW) adorned in faux pearls. The sandals will be in my sack for the water rides. Once I get off of the ride I will slip back into my flat sneakers or shoes.

There is also a water bottle, a women’s razor, bottle of Listerine, booty socks, plastic food storage bags (which can be used for anything… you should always pack some), and compact packets of tissues (ten of these will eventually go in). Small tube of lotion. Tooth Brush inside of pink cover.

You’ll also see a pic of a couple of pairs of small gold earrings. I wanted something fresh and new to wear on my ears. I am not one who spends a lot of money on jewelry. These were inexpensive and have a lovely and very gold look to them. I will wear the smaller ones everyday, and on my Afternoon Tea, Teppan Edo, and Chefs de France days I will wear the slightly larger ones to dinner. They too are also not very big.
