First Solo Trip 2/4-2/11 2006!

So excited just booked my first solo trip for 6 days to Disney!!!!!
Staying at POR!!!!
got rate of $1346.00w/air
Did I get a good deal???
Can anyone tell me how much I should bring for food???
probably just eat lunch and supper....

You'll have a great time!! Been 4 times solo, with my 5th coming up in November. It's incredible to see how much freedom you have going solo. You get to go where & when you want. Dine where & when you want. Ride an attraction 10 times or completely skip some. I love going solo as much as I do with family.

One of the ways I've found to take an awkward edge to solo at Disney is that I always have a book with me (avid reader anyway). This way if I'm dining or waiting for a show, parade or fireworks to start, I just take out my book.

I've found CM's very respectful of my dining solo and receive good to great service. I also find myself approaching people who look like they are all together to ask if they would like to be in a picture too.

As far as dining, I'm guessing you did not do MYW dining plan, right? If not, I'd plan on about $50 a day for lunch & dinner. Lunches at some restaurants are cheaper than dinners.
