First solo holiday booked for 2 weeks in Sept!!

...I found some good hotel offers on hotels.com but I don't know if I can get the magical express with it or the advantage of fast pass plus 60 days in advance??

The bottom line is if it's a Disney owned hotel, you can do Magical Express and the 60 day FP. If not, you can't.

If it is a Disney hotel, it shouldn't matter too much how you book it (thru Disney, hotels.com, etc.). When you book it it not directly with Disney, you'll get a confirmation number. You can then take that confirmation number and enter it into My Disney Experience app or website and it gets translated into a Disney confirmation and you can do your FP's, Magical Express, etc.

I'm there during your visit. Look for me and say HI. I'll be the one in a KISS shirt. I'm not hard to miss. :)
I'm doing MNSSHP on the 8th and also staying at POP.

Thank you for explaining how it works with Hotels.com!

I booked my flights yesterday and am currently debating if I should do a split stay or not.

I did it!! Pretty scary but also super excited to be going back to my fav place ever!! I am a complete newbie to the solo Orlando scene, so if anyone is around from the 1st Sept until 13th maybe we could meet up! :) and if anyone has any other tips I will be all ears! Staying at POP so planning to use Uber to go to universal/the mall etc - if that sounds right? Cant decide whether to book mickeys not so scary Halloween? Thoughts? Thanks so much everyone!! xx

Wow, I am there from Sep 1 to Sep 16, staying at Pop until the 12th, then head over to boardwalk for the rest of my stay. I have done solo all but one time and I enjoy it, you get to meet people and I find myself noticing things I might otherwise miss.

Halloween is a tough call, as an Australian, we don't really do it here, so for me its kinda of an oddity and a treat, but I say go for it, nice parade, fireworks and lighter crowds for the most part.

Have fun! I am sure you will have a great time. I have been lucky enough to spend 2 weeks in Florida with my mom last month (6 days at WDW, the rest of the time at the beach). Being from Germany I have to travel to the States for at least 2 weeks since flights are expensive.

I am now considering doing a solo trip at the beginning of September for my birthday. I always wanted to go to MNSSHP and I would also love to visit Universal Studios. But travelling solo would be a big step for me...at least for more than just a weekend! And my friends don't want to join me. Being in my early thirties most of my friends think I am too old for WDW. And they think it is for little kids. Of course they have never been to the World ;)

That is the same reason I spend two weeks there, coming from Australia the flights are expensive, though this time I scored an amazing deal, but with 22 hours of travelling, anything shorter than two weeks feels like its not worth it.

Hi, Just seen your post as im looking to go to Disney to but as everyone has kids I might have to go solo. Its great to see so many people go to Disney alone. I'm from London and was looking at booking around the same time as you potentially if you wanted to meet up.

I've been on numerous solo trips including cruises and have had the best times. I figure if I wait on others to join me then I may never get a chance to go where I want! I'll be in DW the first two weeks of Sept and I am excited! I planning on going to the F&W fest as well!
