First Snowfall of the season!!!

I always love the first snowfall of the season. It is so peaceful and quite. It's a great time to curl up with a book in front of the fire watching the snow fall. It is going to be a LONG winter though when it starts in APRIL!!!!

It's snowing here, it's April 26th. It was 77° here on Tuesday. I had to turn the heat back on today.

It's coming our way soon. We had 80 degrees yesterday. Monday won't get above 50.

Weird how these things just seem to come out of nowhere and really mess you up.

Let's just assume it's the LAST snowfall of the season and bid winter adieu!!!

We never got a second snowfall. Just one storm during President's week-- 6 inches or so-- and that was all she wrote.

I actually like snow (though not in April ) I enjoy shoveling, and the novelty it brings to dreary old winter.

Yes our 2 days of spring, 5 and half days of summer and a few hours of fall went by so fast but can hardly wait, too to see our first new snow fall coming in Monday!!!

We didn't get that much, just a very light dusting. Just enough to know it snowed. It will green things up this week when the sun comes out at least.

I did my third law mowing yesterday. The grass is looking so dense and green. I hand weed killed the dandelions three days ago. One needs to keep the weeds out you know.

This is very true! I suppose we will have mow the grass in about 2 weeks!

Funny, I have to take my son to his track meet in an hour. Looks like it will be indoors again. Can't really use the track when it is covered in snow. It was indoors 2 weeks ago when we had that really, really cold Saturday.

The new Round Up formula is to strong and kills more than intended.

The whole neighborhood was out mowing this week. Amazing!!

We've got a storm brewing right now. I'm sure the mower will be dragged out again soon.

DH used Weed and Seed last year. It is supposed to kill off the weeds and plant seeds for new growth. Instead it just wiped out everything in sight.

I have read the "how too" and it doesn't say anything about "killing everything that shows up". Maybe I need to use fertalizer instead.
