We have the first seating time for Storybook Princess Breakfast
at Epcot, Norway. Can anyone tell me if I need to do anything special to get into the park and over to the restaurant on time, or even a few minutes early? We are coming from Beach Club
international gate entry.

I just want to be sure that there will be a CM at that gate,
so we are not waiting around, as the (future) world part of the park opens at 9:00 (world at 11:00), and we have to be seated by 8:30.

Thanks

We have done this several times now. The gates are open for PS's only. You should have your number, but they only ask your name. It is a nice walk without many people around. They do make you walk to the left. I would rather have a nice quiet walk to the right around the WS, but they block that off.

Celebrate life,
Here's a little heads-up for you. Maybe your DD will get as lucky as mine did.
DD and I had 8:30 reservations for the Princess Breakfast in Norway. We were staying at Y & BC, so we went in through the International Gateway and walked through World Showcase to Norway. Since the front of the park wasn't open, we were the first to arrive at Norway. As we checked in, the greeter asked my DD, "Would you like to be our Princess of the Day?" She was taken inside and given a Princess hat, jeweled cape and magic wand. Then, they brought her back outside and she called all the kids to the door - tapped it three times with the wand and opened the door, leading the kids in to see the Princesses!!! She was given a special seat and a "Princess of the Day"certificate with her name on it which all the princesses signed for her. When each of the princesses came to the table, they all called her by name and referred to her offical 'title'. I can't even begin to tell you how excited she was - it made her entire trip! That's Disney magic at its best !
I hadn't heard about this before and thought others might want to know.

Swan mom:

Thanks for your hint. We are celebrating my dd's 6th b-day, along with her cousin who is 4 a couple weeks later. There will be 13 of us, (probably boring for the adults and my boys who
think they are too old for character meals, little do they know what I have planned for them all week).

My dd, who has Downs Syndrome would be thrilled with the
attention I am sure. She mostly just loves to laugh and sing happy birthday, but all those "beautiful" women in their "fancy" clothes......well she would be in heaven. Don't ask how, with two older "sport" fanatic brothers that she loves the dolls and princesses so much?, but she does.

Just wondering what time you had to leave the gate at international gateway to get to Norway before anyone else arrived for the 8:30 breakfast? Also, we have had breakfast at the Garden Grill and it was very good. I have heard that the Princess Breakfast isn't as good, any comments? I am roping the rest of my family into this, don't want to be misleading them too much.

Thanks again!

We arrived at the International Gateway at 7:45. It took us about 20 minutes to walk around to Norway. Of course, you may need longer if you have a large group or smaller kids.
As for the food, I really liked it. Eggs, sausage, french toast sticks, potatoes.........even my picky DD managed to eat because it was fairly traditional breakfast fare.

We had the first seating one morining last April. We needed our
name, ps time, and party size to enter the park. We enjoyed the
breakfast (eggs, cheesy potatoes, sausage, danish, etc.). Since
you have an early seating everything should be nice and fresh.
Make sure to ask for seconds if you run out of an item.

Make sure the cast memebers know about your DD's birthday.
I am certain the princesses will make over her!

We had wonderful character interactions at this breakfast (at
CRT everyone was on a very tight schedule). Both Belle and
Jasmine carried on an involved converstions with our DD-7.

(We saw Belle later in the day and she remembered us!).
