"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

Stop being a tease and get busy on that trip report! ;)

Sounds like you made the right choice then! :goodvibes

Awww, c'mon! We haven't even been home for 24 hours yet -- all the laundry isn't even finished yet -- Winkers has been home for what -- a month -- she has only updated three times, right? :lmao: :lmao:

Do not aspire to be like Winkers in your trip updating I beg of you! I will give you a little more time, since I think it took me a couple weeks to decompress enough to begin writing. :thumbsup2

What a creep that waiter was. I bet anything that he normally works in a different restaurant and was picking up extra hours and he thought GG was 'beneath" him :sad2:

Hope you were able to shake off the blues:hug:

UGH! I hate crappy waitstaff!:furious: You poor thing! We ALL have those moments of the flood gates opening! I hope your feet start to feel better! His apology was a day late and a dollar short huh!:thumbsup2

Totally a day late. The really bad part was that since we were a party of 6 it got the automatic 18% gratuity!

I have to get the ten rolls of film developed tomorrow (I am one of those old-fashioned girls when it comes to cameras -- actually the digital one that I want is on my Christmas wish list), and then I can get organized to begin writing. I am actually pretty excited to share the trip with everyone!

I am caught up! Let's see if I can remember everything I wanted to comment on.

Your family is adorable!
I love the Choose Your Own Adventures plans. I am going to have to remember that idea.
Those are the best spectromagic pictures I have ever seen.
I got teary eyed when I read about your family opening up Magic Kingdom.
I was like you daughter as her age, in family photos you see me with a book constantly.
I love the tshirts for the P&PP and I really want to go to the P&PP now. I guess I will just have to plan another trip!

Anyhoo, I love it. I think I am going to head over to your DL PTR. :goodvibes

Too funny!!! and without effort ;)

Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience at GG:hug: ... I sure hope we do when we go...

Well I have no idea why it took me so long to join this TR....but I did today....read the whole thing....and now I'm waiting for more :lovestruc

Wow. That waiter wasn't very Disney-like. And don't worry. Meltdown is the sign of a great vacation! :rotfl:
Some of my greatest vacations, especially my Italy trip, all have meltdowns.

Thank you! The Pirates and Princesses Party was awesome. Totally yet another reason to go again.

My suggestion would be to ask to sit on the lower level, even if you have to wait.

Thanks for reading!

That may be true since we had a great vacation!

So sorry you had such a bad experience at the Garden Grill and such a bad waiter. We ate there the last time we went to Epcot and it was a really nice meal. I so hope that the rest of your day at Epcot wasn't too bad.

Totally loving your trippie and can't wait for the rest!!!

On our way out of the park after dinner there were a couple of Photopass photographers out front, so we made the kids pose for pictures.

Then we headed back to Coronado Springs Resort. I for one was glad to see our hotel.

The boys wanted to practice with their trick toys, so I went with them to the quiet pool area right outside our rooms. I sat with my feet in the cool pool water while they played.

There was no one else around, well except for the ducks.

It was very relaxing to just sit in the peace and quiet of the evening and be still.

Later David and I went and spent some time in the hot tub. That was such a nice way to spend the evening. I'm so glad we did enjoy so much time at our resort during our trip. I loved how the Dig Site pool area looked at night. It was gorgeous!

When we walked back to the room Aunt Pat was watching Daisy and Joey swim in the quiet pool.

Daisy wanted me to take a specific picture of her and after several attempts I got the shot she wanted.

We then all returned to the room. Daisy and David walked over to the lobby to pick up the infamous Splash Mountain photo. The rest of us got ready for bed. Joey and Adam wouldn't let Aunt Pat and I watch our usual political news, banning it because we were on vacation, which pretty much left us with Stacy or DVC tv. I watched the DVC infomercial in preperation for our tour the next day.

Daisy and David returned without the photo, but they did have donuts for breakfast. Then we all climbed in bed and I set our wake up call so we could make rope drop at Hollywood Studios in the morning.

It looks like I get to be the first to respond to your latest post - and that's enough to get me out of lurkdom!:) I've been enjoying your trip report, and just tonight finally got all caught up.

My daughter is also reading the Twilight series, and goes everywhere with a book. We're not going to make it to WDW this summer, but when we do, we stay at the BCV and spend a lot of time at Epcot, so I particularly enjoyed your latest installment. Looking forward to hearing about your DCV tour - we close TOMORROW on our DCV membership at BCV ( ) but won't be able to go home until summer 2009. This summer we have to go to a conference - in Anaheim! Darn - right next to Disneyland.

Looking forward to the next installment.

any idea why she wanted that specific pose?

Great shots of the kids on your way out of epcot :)

I'm excited to hear about your DVC tour ....
